Dr. Durant will greeted students for the first day of classes for the Pre-Medical and Health Science Academy at the Mercy College campus.
Sophomore students will attend classes at the Mercy campus full-time, with juniors and seniors attending classes at the Mercy campus part time. All other grades will continue to attend classes full time at the Upton Ave. location.
The Pre-Medical and Health Science Academy focuses on Biomedical Science, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Nursing and Health Science fields. Upon graduation, students have the opportunity to begin an entry-level career in the medical field or choose to attend college and further their
education.
Students are able to work toward and obtain the following certifications: Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, STNA, Athletic Training, Surgical Sterilization Specialist, ECG
Technician, and X-Ray Technician.
