Through a variety of exciting hands-on activities, middle school students can explore the
various career tech educational opportunities at TPS high schools and magnet schools. Students
will also learn about future opportunities at the Brady Educator and Social Services Academy
and the Construction and Architectural Design Academy which will open on the Scott Park
campus at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
A variety of local employers as well as more than 60 colleges and universities all had recruiting tables for high school students to visit.
The goal is to get students to start preparing for their next step in education and their next step
in life.
Students in grades 10-12 attend the Next Step event on Tuesday, October 14, while
students in grades 6-8 attend on Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16.
